Purdue University MSECE Program

Introduction

- This program is a collaborative master’s degree talent cultivation initiative between NYCU (limited to ICST, IAIS, COECE, COE, and COS) and Purdue University.
- Graduates will receive the Purdue MSECE degree, majoring in Semiconductors and Microelectronics.
Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be current students enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, or doctoral programs at NYCU.
- Applicants must meet Purdue MSECE admission criteria, including English proficiency (e.g., TOEFL/IELTS) and academic background.

Application Procedure
- Submit your application intention to NYCU’s Office of International Affairs.
- After NYCU compiles and recommends the candidates, Purdue will review the nominated list for admission decisions.

- The Purdue ECE Graduate Admissions Committee will review and notify applicants of the admission results.
Study Period & Course Requirements
- Students must study at Purdue for at least one academic year (Fall and Spring semesters) to complete the project-track MSECE courses and project.
- Up to 12 credits may be transferred from NYCU, provided the courses are recognized by Purdue.
- The total credit requirement is 30 credits (including transferred credits).

Cost & Student Responsibility
- Students are responsible for tuition, fees, accommodation, living expenses, insurance, airfare, and other costs during their study at Purdue.
