印度理工學院羅克分校 (IITR) 申請說明<![CDATA[<strong>The<em> Joint-Master Degree Program </em>between ICST and Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee (IITR), India</strong> <br>
<br>
<strong><u>Program Duration</u></strong><br>
According to the Joint-Master Degree Program (JMD) Agreement signed between IIT Roorkee and ICST, NYCU. The minimum study duration at NYCU or IITR is 12 months, accumulative. <br>
<br>
<strong><u>Eligibility</u></strong><br>
International students who meet both of the following requirements are eligible to apply:
<ol>
<li>Nomination by home institution; maximum 5 students per academic year</li>
<li>Meet the admission requirements at host institution</li>
</ol>
<strong><u>Application Procedures</u></strong>
<ol>
<li>JMD Application Form Submission
<ol style="list-style-type: upper-roman;">
<li>Please complete the Appication form and the Consent letter below. </li>
<li>Applicants submit the application form (word file + pdf file), the signed consent letter from NYCU co-supervisor and CV to (1) ICST official email: <a href="mailto:icst_ir@nycu.edu.tw">icst_ir@nycu.edu.tw</a> (2) Host supervisor email (3) Home supervisor email Under the Title: <strong>Application for IITR JMD_Name</strong>.</li>
<li>After all documents are reviewed and accepted with the College, ICST will send “Confirmation Letter” to applicants.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li>Online application Students with the Confirmation Letter to IITR JMD Program can submit online application on the website of Office of International affairs at NYCU (OIA)

<li>Choose Master program: “International College of Semiconductor Technology” only.</li>
<li>Prepare all required document accordingly and confirm all required signatures.</li>
<li>Upload all document to our online application system before the specified deadline. Late and incomplete application will not be considered.</li>

<strong><u>Degree/Course Requirement</u></strong>
<ul>
<li><em>NYCU as the Host Institution</em>
<ol>
<li>Students are required to register at NYCU in this program for at least two semesters.</li>
<li>The Master candidates must spend at least six (6) months (accumulated) of the research project at each of the two institutions.</li>
<li>The Master candidate shall have completed at least one (1) semesters of study in NYCU prior to starting to study in the host institution.</li>
<li>Students are required to complete at least one third (1/3; at least 8 credits) of the master graduation credits in NYCU, the other one third (1/3; at least 8 credits) in the host university and the left one third (1/3; at least 8 credits) be admitted by both universities.</li>
<li>The whole study period shall not exceed four (4) years.</li>
<li>Students must pass the oral defense and Master thesis review.</li>
<li>Students must meet other rules and regulations regarding conferment of degree of the institution and department.</li>
</ol>
</li>
<li><em>IITR as the Host Institution</em>
<ol>
<li>Students are required to register at IITR in this program for at least one semester.</li>
<li>The Master candidates must spend at least one (1) semesters (accumulated) of the research project at each of the two institutions.</li>
<li>The Master candidate shall have completed at least 1 semesters of study in IITR prior to starting to study in the host institution.</li>
<li>The whole study period shall not exceed three (3) years for M Tech course.</li>
<li>The JMD students must earn 36 credits in total (including professional courses、project、seminar and dissertation) from IITR to get Master degree.</li>
<li>Students must pass the oral defense and Master thesis review either at NYCU or at IITR under a joint organized thesis committee from two institutions.</li>
<li>Students must meet other rules and regulations regarding conferment of degree of the institution and department.</li>
</ol>
