[International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program)]
Introduction
The Ministry of Education (MOE) of Taiwan will launch the “International Industrial Talents Education Special Program (INTENSE Program)” for talents coming to Taiwan for study and employment after graduation. This program integrates government, industry, and university resources to expand the recruitment of International superior industrial talent students. NYCU will first target students from Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines, and India, Malaysia from Fall 2024.
Degree: Master of Science (MSc degree)
Application Qualifications
The students who graduated from public or private colleges / universities registered with the Ministry of Education or from overseas colleges/ universities that meet the requirements of the Ministry of Education, and receive a bachelor’s degree or new graduates.

Curriculum
- Graduation credits requirement: At least 24 credits. (Does not include language-related courses)
- Required core course 12 credits.
- Thesis: to be taken in two semesters.

- The details not specified hereunder will be subject to the “Regulations of Master Program” of the College.
Scholarship
- Full tuition waiver. * Full tuition waiver for the first year, and for the second year based on their academic performance in the first year.
- One-time reimbursement of flight ticket to Taiwan.
- Monthly stipend of NT$10,000/month up to 2- years, from participating companies
- Summer internship 2 months (with pay NT$40,000 – NT$44,000/month).
- Work in Taiwan after graduation: Students can stay in Taiwan to work with participating companies, fulfilling work obligations based on the number of years for which they received funding. Upon completion of their obligations, students may choose to remain in Taiwan to work or return to their home countries to work.

- Graduation Certificate of highest degree obtained (translation required if not originally issued in English or Chinese)
- Full transcript of records of highest degree obtained (including explanation of grading system; translation required if not originally issued in English or Chinese)
- Two recommendation letters
- Proof of English Language Proficiency*
- Passport or other proving document of nationality
* Applicant’s English language proficiency should meet the following minimum requirement; applications without sufficient language proficiency may be given lower priority during review process: IELTS 5.0/TOEFL-PBT 500/TOEFL-CBT 173/TOEFL-IBT 61/TOEIC 650
